美國化學學會（AmericanChemicalSociety，ACS）成立於1876年，現已成為世界上最大的科技協會。ACS出版的化學及相關學科期刊具有很高的質量,據ISI的JournalCitationReport(JCR)統計,ACS的期刊是化學領域中被引用次數最多的期刊。ACS出版的34種紙本期刊都有電子版，每一種期刊都回溯到了期刊的創刊卷，最早的到1879年。這些期刊涵_了24個主要的學科領域：毒物學、食品科學、葯理與制葯學、物理化學、環境工程學、工程化學、微生物應用生物科技、應用化學、分子生物化學、分析化學、聚合物、無機與原子能化學、資料系統電腦化學、學科應用、農業學。
