我和馬振天交換了一下眼神，然後異口同聲的回答：「好，我們馬上去付錢！」
阿姨滿臉堆笑的說：「好呀，歡迎！」好像不願放掉我們這兩條「大魚」。
阿姨隨後把我們拉進他們的小時光旅行社。我剛進去就要出來——這是一家無保障的小型旅社，有很多安全隱患。他們採用的都是已經早在2個世紀之前就淘汰的光子車式節油型的小型的時光機器，現在成本價一般在1500$至2000$之間，燃油才要200$至450$之間。馬辰天立刻叫住我，說到：「你想不想去呀，這么便宜，不去白不去呀！」
我想想也是，我不去這去哪呀，這是當下最好的，也是唯一的選擇，就在這里進行旅行吧，飢不擇食了。我們交完錢，我們馬上走到一個特俊，特炫的時光機器「小棒哥」（時光機器的名字）的旁邊，准備開始旅行。
正當這時，馬辰天這個「事姥」又開始「犯病」了：「為什麼你們大人要上來呀？我可不想又受大人的限制！」
阿姨輕聲地說：「對不起，小朋友，你不會操縱時光機器，怎麼去呀？」
馬辰天馬上反駁道：「什麼？我不會開？我熟練得很！」
阿姨可不像剛才那麼細聲細語了，厲聲喊道：「你這個小毛孩！還嫩著呢！有種你給我看看你怎麼駕駛時光機器！」
忽然，那位阿姨意識到自己說錯了話，可這時已經晚了，馬辰天拉著我，上了時光機器,馬辰天臨行前說：「行，我就讓你看看我是怎麼駕駛的時光機器，讓你長長見識！」說完，馬辰天就拉了一下線，時光機器「嗖——」的一聲出發了。
可就在半路上，一件事故幾乎改變了馬辰天的一生的命運：我們正在行駛中，突然一輛粉色的小型時光機器脫離了軌道，正巧撞到了我們的時光機器上，我很幸運，我在爆炸的那一瞬間跳下了時光機器，來到了2238年（我們原來在2246年），而馬辰天則沒那麼幸運了。他沒有及時地往下跳，反應遲鈍了一下，最後沒有逃跑成功。
爆炸後的煙霧在馬辰天身邊彌漫著，我看不到他，我很擔心他，我的心在「砰砰」直跳，生怕他會有什麼三長兩短。煙霧漸漸得向四面散開了，我看到了一個黑影，接著看到了，接著看到了他的頭，終於，他出現在我的面前。我當時真的不敢相信，我眼前這位半身不遂、身體一半肉一半鐵的這個人是我的好朋友——馬辰天。
他說是這樣的：「那輛粉色的時光機器把我們的時光機器撞爆炸了之後，一塊鐵皮砸到了他的臉上，然後未等鐵皮掉落，一個被熊熊烈火燒融化了的人的肉汁把那塊鐵皮粘到了他的臉上，之後下半身被燒傷了。」這一切像是有人安排似的。
聽到這里，我們倆抱在一起，哭了起來。
晚上，我背馬辰天四處流浪，他問我：「我都這樣了，你還是我的好朋友嗎？」
我不假思索，說道：「是，以後也都是，不論你怎樣，我們都是好朋友。」
說完，我和馬辰天露出了難得的笑容。我們走著、走著……
